ROLLS-ROYCE CRYSTAL BLUE
A new way to operate and design a mega yacht.
This concept is a collaboration created together by Rolls-Royce Commercial Marine Concepts & Innovation team.
Crystal blue concept consists of a 62 meter long luxurious yacht and a 42 meter long support vessel. The overall idea is to free the best place on the vessel - the bridge - for the owner and guests to use. Captain and his personnel are operating inside the hull with a virtual view. Both vessels are powered by LNG. Sophisticated control systems allow good maneuverability and neat functions like turning automatically based on circadian rhythm to stay on sun.
The support vessel hosts all the toys you can imagine; tender, scuba gear and water jets included. It also serves as a helipad and LNG bunkering vessel.
