Colour, material and finish update for Suunto 3 sports watch
CMF design update was my first task when starting at Suunto. It’s predecessor 3 Fitness had been on the market for a while and it was time to renew the line-up. Matte metal finishes, natural muted colours and a ventilated strap gave the product a new life.
In the same process the manufacturing of the product was transferred to Finland. Choosing trendy colours and tweaking those towards a more nordic, natural direction supported that story.
